Our Story

How it all started...

For the first six years of Lighthouse, we were a mobile church plant, planted with the help of the Southern Baptist Convention. During those years we met at six different locations, from living rooms to event centers. We developed a small group of people who became a close-knit family and this family atmosphere has continued to be a core part of our church culture.

Expanding the vision...

When we needed leaders, God provided. When we needed funds or a meeting space, God provided. When we needed direction and wisdom, God provided. The more we've grown, the greater the challenges have been , but also the greater God's provision has been. 2019 to 2021 brought incredible growth to our church.

Where we are headed...

We purchased our current building in November 2021! We are finally Planted and anxious to put down roots that will make a lasting difference in our city. Rather than every step mapped out, we know that God has called us to continue being faithful in each next step. Right now that means expanding our staff and renovating our building in 2022 to better serve our congregation and community.
